About Yaffe Law

Yaffe Law was founded by David Yaffe, a lawyer with a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal landscapes. With a background as outside counsel for a diverse set of businesses, and extensive experience with intellectual property and employment matters, David created a firm that caters specifically to the unique needs of businesses, creatives, and employees. 

A graduate of the Florida State University College of Law, magna cum laude, David started his professional career as an entrepreneur in the film and production industry. Through this experience, David gained first-hand knowledge of the legal and business challenges faced by filmmakers and creatives in bringing their artistic visions to life. This background gives David a sound base to provide grounded and pragmatic legal solutions to his creative clients.

David devotes a significant portion of his practice to advising companies in an outside (or fractional) general counsel capacity. His corporate clients have operated in many industries, such as software, gaming, medical services, health & wellness, hospitality, cannabis, micro-mobility, content creation, and more.

Outside of the office, David spends his time with family and pursuing his passion for producing and developing feature films and creative content. His latest project is in post-production.
